What is your role in Patiala Babes?

The role is extremely positive. It’s a performance-oriented role and I am enjoying it.

Any special preparations you went through for this role

Haryanvi language was the thing on which I have really worked and the body language too. I play a Haryanvi cop, so language and attitude is important.

The show has a unique title. What’s your take?

Yes, the title Patiala Babes is quite unique. It basically suggests that the show has a Punjabi and Haryanvi background. It’s a very sweet story, which everyone can connect to.

How different is this one from Yaro Ka Tashan?

It is totally different from Yaro KaTashan, as the former was about a humanoid.

Do you think looks really matter in the industry?

I don’t think so. If the actor is performing his job fantastically, then nobody will see how he or she looks. Television stardom is like a bubble; it will not stay forever unless you have a good craft.

It’s a craze to have good physique nowadays.

Do you also believe in six-pack-abs?

If it is the need of the script, then it’s good otherwise it’s not required just to be an actor. Acting skills are more important. Or course, I do believe in a healthy lifestyle.
