Official reviews poll preparedness

Amisha S Gupt, expenditure observer for the Chandigarh parliamentary constituency, reviewed the election preparedness today.

A presentation was given by the assistant expenditure observer about the constituency, wherein various measures were discussed, including working of the district media certification and monitoring committee (MCMC), preparation of polling stations, security arrangements, implementation of the Model Code of Conduct, static surveillance teams, flying squads, C-Vigil App, deployment of forces, expenditure monitoring, intensive hands-on procedural training for presiding and polling officials, PwD voting App, reserve teams, strengthening of manpower, EVM management system and SVEEP campaigns. — TNS
