NSDC to train RNA workers

The workforce at Renault-Nissan Alliance India plant in Chennai will get the benefit of training in future technologies through the group’s recent tie-up with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).

The workforce at Renault-Nissan Alliance India plant in Chennai will get the benefit of training in future technologies through the group’s recent tie-up with the  National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). An MoU in this regard was signed last week. Through this partnership, NSDC will assist the Renault-Nissan workforce develop competency standards in emerging automotive manufacturing technologies. 

Commenting on the partnership Jayakumar David, HR Director at Renault-Nissan Alliance said “Through our partnership with NSDC we will aim to get 10 per cent of employees trained in the first year to be able to support our growth and expansion plans. — TNS
