The Education Department it seems is taking every possible step to improve the standards of education in government schools.

The department is taking several steps for the same and also trying to keep a watch on the day-to-day activities carried in government schools. Under the same league, now, schools heads have been asked to give the details of the day-to-day activities being carried out in their schools.

Heads of government schools have been issued orders by the District Education Department to upload information regarding the activities being held in their schools on the WhatsApp group.

WhatsApp groups are being formed under the Tandarust Mission Punjab and Block Primary Education Officers (BPEO) share information in this group that is being undertaken under the mission. Now, information related to school activities will also be shared in this WhatsApp group.

According to sources, all information related to school activities which include pertaining to studies, cultural and extra-curricular activities will be shared in the group.

In addition to this, school students will be made aware regarding the precautions to be taken during weather changes and regular medical check-ups of students would be done. School heads have been asked to share information regarding the activities being carried out in their school along with a picture.
