The district administration of Sirmaur will launch a cleanliness campaign ‘Ek Din School Ke Naam’ in about 1,000 summer closing schools of the district tomorrow where students will collect the littered polythene and dry waste for their further use in road construction and making poly bricks.

Deputy Commissioner, Sirmaur, Dr RK Pruthi, will launch the campaign from government senior secondary school, Moginand. This eight-day campaign will be implemented on every 1st and 4th Saturday from December 2019 to March 2020 where two hours would be devoted for this purpose by the students of classes above 5, eco clubs, scouts and guides, NSS and NCC students.
