A 36-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the iron grills at his home in BRS Nagar. The deceased, Aneesh Inder Walia, lived with his grandmother in the house.

Today, when he didn’t answer phone calls made by his brother from Mumbai, the latter sent someone to the house. The person sent to the house found Aneesh hanging on the first floor.

No suicide note was recovered from the spot. The police initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC. — TNS
