Over 50,000 to get industrial training: Minister

Industries and Technical Education Minister Bikram Singh invited the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) of Singapore to Himachal.

“The state is beautiful and full of opportunities for technical education,” he added.

According to the official release issued here yesterday, the minister said Singapore was an advanced and modern country, which had become ideal for other countries in terms of environment, technology and development.

“It should also work to have some exchange programme through which students of both sides can get experience. The quality of air in Singapore is excellent for a habitable environment,” the minister added. The state government was ensuring that investors got all facilities by framing the new industrial policy, he said.

Himachal provided cheap electricity to the investors in comparison to others states. The state government organised the first Global Investors Meet on November 7 and 8.
