Srinagar, November 21
After 24 hours of dry weather and some sunshine, Kashmir received a fresh spell of rain on Thursday. The rain caused a dip in the day temperature in Srinagar from 11.8°C on Wednesday to 8.8°C on Thursday.
Sonam Lotus, Director, Meteorological Centre, Srinagar, said light to moderate rain was expected in the plains and snowfall was expected in the higher reaches. “It is raining in some areas,” he said. — TNS
