Four arrested under NDPS Act

Jalandhar, December 19 

The Jalandhar rural police on Tuesday arrested four persons and seized over 300 gm of intoxicant substance, (including heroin) from them.  Jatinder Singh, alias Jassi, a resident of ward number 11, Deep Colony, Garhshankar, was nabbed with 20 gm ice (intoxicant substance). Along with Jatinder, his accomplice Rajesh and Rakesh Kumar of Phillaur were also nabbed. 

Thirty gm of ice was seized from Rajesh and 20 gm from Rakesh, respectively. A case under Section 21, NDPS Act, was registered. 

Meanwhile, in another case, the police arrested Rajvir of Amritsar and seized 245 gm of heroin from him. — TNS
