Punjabi singer’s FB, instagram account hacked

Punjabi singer-actor Jashan Singh on Saturday alleged that his Facebook and Instagram accounts have been hacked.

He had filed a complaint to the Mohali police and cyber cell through email on Saturday. He had stated that he received a message on his WhatsApp number in which he was asked to tap on a link for reconfirming his Instagram account. He said that he was not aware that the message was sent by a hacker.

“The moment I clicked on the link, I got a message that ‘I am a hacker’. After that my Facebook and Instagram accounts got inoperable and I was unable to log in,” said Jashan in his complaint.

Both the social media accounts of the artiste are verified accounts. Jashan had recently released his song from ‘Coke studio’. He has also worked in movies.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (Cyber Cell), Rupinder Kaur, said no such case has come to her knowledge.— TNS
