Man sentenced to life term for rape

Kurukshetra: The court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Lal Chand on Friday sentenced a man to life imprisonment for raping a minor girl.

Kurukshetra: The court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Lal Chand on Friday sentenced a man to life imprisonment for raping a minor girl. The court has also slapped a fine of Rs 25,000 on the convict, Vijay Kumar of UP. A woman from Chandauli district in UP, in her complaint, had alleged that on October 8 last year, she heard the cries of her two-and-a-half-year-old daughter from a nearby hut. When she reached Kumar’s hut, she saw him raping her daughter. TNS
