Painting contest on energy conservation

CHANDIGARH:As part of the national awareness campaign of the Power Ministry to promote energy conservation in the country, the Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) organised a state-level on-the-spot painting competition for students of Chandigarh, Punjab and Haryana here today.

As part of the national awareness campaign of the Power Ministry to promote energy conservation in the country, the Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) organised a state-level on-the-spot painting competition for students of Chandigarh, Punjab and Haryana here today.

About 30.92 lakh students competed at the school level in their respective areas. Of these, 300 students were selected for the state-level competition held at the Tagore Theatre in Sector 18 here. Punjab Governor VP Singh Badnore was the chief guest at the event. — TNS
