The Haryana Police have seized 22,300 prohibited pharma pills and 1.45 gm of heroin in Sirsa district. Two men have been arrested with prohibited drugs.

A spokesman for the Police Department said here on Monday that a team of the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) signaled a motorcycle-borne man to stop. When searched, 22,300 prohibited pharma pills were recovered from his possession. The accused was identified as Preetpal, alias Preeta, a resident of Raghuana village.

In another incident, a team of the CIA arrested a man, identified as Kuldeep of Alinka, with 1.45 gm of heroin. The spokesman said cases under the NDPS Act had been registered against the two accused.
