Solid waste dumped on roads
Solid waste disposal is becoming a major problem in the rural areas of Jammu. Solid waste generated in residential colonies on the outskirts of the city, which are not under the Municipal Corporation, is not lifted. It is dumped on roads and open plots. Tulip Garden in need of flowers
The Tulip Garden in Jammu was expected to become a major attraction but it has failed to become so. It is sans flowers and the approach road has not been blacktopped. It could have been turned into a major picnic spot but the failure of departments concerned is not allowing it to develop. The new Lieutenant Governor needs to take steps regarding the issue.
