Amid restrictions imposed in the wake of the Supreme Court’s verdict on Ayodhya, thousands of Sikh devotees took part in a nagar kirtan to mark the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev.

Kids dressed as ‘Panj Pyaras’ lead the nagar kirtan comprising various Jathas. Thousands of devotees irrespective of religion participated in the procession, which started from Gurdwara Maharani Chand Kaur and culminated at Gurdwara Nanak Nagar.
