Students put their best foot forward to clinch top positions during the annual athletics and sports meet held at Silver Oaks School in city.

The final day of the four-day celebrations started off with a march past led by a musical band. The chief guest for the meet was ultra marathoner Apoorva Chaudhary. The meet started with lighting of the game flame, after which the chief guest declared the meet open. There were a variety of track events such as 100m, 200m, 400m, hurdles and relay races. Students presented an item on colours of India. In tug-of-war house (girls) and house (Boys) were the winners. Students performed marvelously and won medals. The trophy of best athlete was presented by the chief guest. She congratulated winners and motivated them to keep aspiring for more and better in life.

A bhangra performance by students filled the entire playground with cheers and applause. Principal Neelam Verma lauded the efforts put in by students and faculty members for making the event a success.
