Rohtak, October 18

BJP national spokesman Sambit Patra on Friday claimed that Congress president Sonia Gandhi refused to address a rally in Mahendragarh as her party was losing and she did not want to take responsibility for it.

“The Congress has made Rahul Gandhi the scapegoat by sending him to address the rally,” Patra said. Addressing a press conference, he remarked that the Congress was known by different names in different areas.

“It is Congress-S for Sonia’s supporters, Congress-R for Rahul’s, Congress-A for former state Congress president Ashok Tanwar’s, Congress-H for former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s and so on,” he alleged.

Commenting on Tanwar, Patra said, “It is still not known which party he belongs to. He supports one party in the morning and supports another in the afternoon.” — TNS
