Dr Narvir Singh Chauhan, Associate Professor in the radiology department of Tanda hospital, has brought laurels to his institution by presenting a research paper on MRI detection of rare birth anomalies at the 75th Korean Congress of Radiology-2019 held in Seoul.
College Principal Dr Bhanu Awasthi said the conference was attended by more than 1,000 top radiologists from across the world.
“Birth anomalies are on the rise and MRI can play a vital role in their detection and management,” Dr Chauhan had said while addressing a gathering in Seoul.
“It is a matter of pride that the college is now providing this exclusive and advanced diagnostic facility for which earlier patients had to go to the PGIMER in Chandigarh,” said Dr Awasthi. — OC
