HAMIRPUR: Blue Star Senior Secondary Public School has won the overall champion trophy in the district-level Under-19 athletic meet that concluded at Synthetic Track here today.

Blue Star Senior Secondary Public School has won the overall champion trophy in the district-level Under-19 athletic meet that concluded at Synthetic Track here today. Divya Verma was judged the best athlete, while Rachna, physical education teacher of the school, won the best coach award.

Students won eight gold, two silver and one bronze to clinch the overall champion trophy. Divya won gold in 100 metre, 200 metre and 4x100-metre relay race and silver in long jump. Nancy Thakur won gold in shot put throw, discuss throw and 4x100-metre relay race. Sanjana won gold in 4x100-metre relay race, silver in 100 metre and bronze in 200 metre race. Saisha Parmar won gold in 4x100-metre relay race.

Principal Dr Suman Lata said the school was committed to the overall development of students.
