Congress general secretary Vikramjit Singh Chaudhary flagged off a door-to-door campaign in favour of party candidate Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal on Wednesday at Khalwara village.

On the occasion, he asked party workers to apprise every voter of the works done by Capt Amarinder Singh-led government and seek votes for Dhaliwal. He said people of the state would definitely elect Congress candidates in the forthcoming bypolls, particularly in Phagwara.

Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal was the best candidate among all in Phagwara. People would come in a large number to great Punjab Chief Minister on the day of a proposed road show, said Chaudhary.
