More than 1,600 invitations are being sent for Global Investor’s Summit to be held on November 7 and 8 at Dharamsala and Ambassadors of about 20-25 countries are expected to attend the summit, said Chief Secretary Dr Shrikant Baldi while chairing a meeting of the organising committee constituted for the summit here today.
Baldi directed these to make the summit a big success and said proper arrangements of accommodation and transportation should be ensured as 1,500 to 2,000 participants were expected to attend the meet. He also directed to engage accommodation and travel partner for its smooth conduct.
A helpline number would also be launched regarding accommodation, transportation and details related to the event.
Union ministers, Chief Ministers of other states and foreign delegates were also being invited.
He said rooms would be booked for VVIPs and dignitaries in Dharamsala, Palampur and Kangra in addition to government guest houses.
It was also informed that nine committees had been constituted for smoothly organising the summit. Eight sectoral sessions would be held in which various ministers, secretaries and dignitaries would share their experiences. A cultural programme would also be organised on the first day of the summit.
