CM to attend Sikh education conference

AMRITSAR: Addressing a meeting organised in Sri Kalghidhar Auditorium, Chief Khalsa Diwan (CKD) president Nirmal Singh said the 67th World Sikh Education Conference scheduled on October 8, 9 and 10 at Sri Sultanpur Lodhi would be attended by Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh along with social, religious and political personalities from across the world.

Addressing a meeting organised in Sri Kalghidhar Auditorium, Chief Khalsa Diwan (CKD) president Nirmal Singh said the 67th World Sikh Education Conference scheduled on October 8, 9 and 10 at Sri Sultanpur Lodhi would be attended by Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh along with social, religious and political personalities from across the world.

It would be a distinguished effort to associate the global Sikh community and Sikh scholars to the Chief Khalsa Diwan (CKD) through the conference.

CKD schools chairman Bhag Singh Ankhi addressed the principals and staff and exhorted them to work together with dedication and discipline for the successful accomplishment of the conference. CKD patron Rajmohinder Singh Majitha expressed his commitment for CKD’s development and prosperity.

Dr Jaswinder Singh Dhillon, secretary, educational committee, said Sri Akal Takht Sahib Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh, Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh, SGPC president Bhai Gobind Singh Longowal, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, former Minority Commission chairman Tirlochan Singh, Baba Kashmir Singh Bhuri Wale, Baba Harnam Singh Khalsa Damdami Taksal, Cabinet Minister Sukhbinder Singh Sarkaria and Om Parkash Soni, Bhai Mahinder Singh (UK) would be among the dignitaries attending the conference.
