The markets in Srinagar, particularly, Goni Khan, Mahraja Bazar and a few shops in the commercial hub, Lal Chowk, open at 6 am to 8.30 am and after that everything goes into the shutdown mode as shops down their shutters and private transport goes thin on roads.
