Chandigarh, September 15

The Soft Power Art and Culture Group staged a Hindi comedy play, ‘Ek Ladki Paanch Deewane’, during the ongoing Hasya Natya Mahotsav at Tagore Theatre here today.

Written by Dr Harishankar Parsai and directed by Gyan Chandra Yadav, the play revolves around unethical approach of five men of a locality trying to woo a teenage girl. However, the girl marries a suitable man.

However, the play was inadequately rehearsed as actors were seen drifting from the concept and intent of the playwright. — OC
