New Delhi: The Delhi Police said on Sunday they had arrested four members of the notorious Neeraj Bawana gang from outer Delhi and seized two country-made pistols and live cartridges from them.

The Delhi Police said on Sunday they had arrested four members of the notorious Neeraj Bawana gang from outer Delhi and seized two country-made pistols and live cartridges from them. Vikas (26), Deepak (23), both residents of Sultanpur Dabas village, Vinay (23), of Bawana, and Vicky (26), of Ghevra village, were arrested on Friday from Bawana area. PTI

Three injured in fire in Shaheen Bagh area

Three men were injured on Sunday after a portion of a flat caught fire in southeast Delhi's Shaheen Bagh area, police said. The fire broke out in the flat in the second floor of the building where painting work was going, he said. Tenant Masisul Zama (30), his friend M D Wakar (26) and painter Zaved (40) sustained injuries, he said. PTI

Proclaimed offender held from Sultanpuri area 

A 33-year-old man, declared proclaimed offender, was arrested from outer Delhi's Sultanpuri area by the Delhi Police Crime Branch, officials said on Sunday. Rajiv was residing in Sultanpuri and was arrested in a case of robbery of Sarita Vihar police station in 2011, they said. After coming out from jail, he failed to appear before the concerned court. He was declared proclaimed offender in the case along with another case of arms act registered at Jyoti Nagar police station, a senior police officer said. PTI 

Minor reunited with family

A 12-year-old boy, who went missing after his school teacher complained about him to his parents, was reunited with his family in West Delhi's Vikaspuri, the police said on Monday. After attending school on Friday, the boy had left his school bag at Block-C Vikaspuri and boarded a bus to Sarai Kale Khan, they said. According to the police, the boy's parents were called to school at around 2 pm by a teacher to complain about him. Fearing the consequence, he decided to flee after school hours. PTI
