Guest teachers boycott CM’s yatra

Karnal: The Guest Teachers Sangharsh Samiti Haryana will boycott the Chief Minister’s ‘jan ashirwaad yatra’ across the state till Sunday. Guest teachers will protest outside the houses of Cabinet ministers Anil Vij, Kavita Jain, Ram Bilas Sharma and Capt Abhimanyu on Sunday. They will hold a protest rally in Karnal on September 1. They are demanding regularisation of jobs, equal work and equal salary till regularisation, medical facility on a par with regular staff and other facilities. The decisions were taken during a state-level meeting here on Friday. Paras Sharma, state convener of the association, said the government had been toying with them. TNS
