Mayor complains of heart problem, hospitalised

City Mayor Balkar Singh Sandhu was admitted to Hero Heart DMC Hospital after he complained of heart problem. It is learnt that two stents have been implanted as there was a blockage in his arteries. He was earlier taken to a family doctor who advised to take him to the hospital.

Jaspreet Singh, personal assistant of the Mayor, said the Mayor was under observation in the hospital and his condition was stable. He said the Mayor was taken to the hospital where doctors advised him for surgery due to blockage in arteries.

According to information, the Mayor was not fine since Tuesday, but he had been visiting various areas along Buddha Nullah and the Sutlej.
