Kaithal: The Haryana Child Welfare Council (HCWC) is setting up centres at various places in the state to provide counselling to children. State project nodal officer Anil Malik launched the second such centre of this district at Indira Gandhi Senior Secondary School here on Wednesday. He said this was the 72nd centre in Haryana. The state council also organised a seminar on the subject of preventing children from exploitation with "sentimental" cooperation of grown-up children, teachers and parents. Malik said parents, teachers and all citizens should use inspirational words for the social and sentimental development of children and child exploitation can be checked by positive and serious efforts. Parents should counsel their children about what is right and wrong. Principal Veena Aggarwal appreciated the council for taking initiative on such an important issue concerning growing children. Rajinder Behal, District Child Welfare Officer, Gian Chand Bhalla, Sarvjeet Singh and others were also present. OC
