Session on child abuse

The Women Development Cell of MCM DAV College, in collaboration with the college’s Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Committee, organised an interactive session on ‘Identifying and preventing signs of child abuse’ in Attawa village today.

The session for the unprivileged children was conducted by the faculty of the college. During the session, the faculty sensitised children about what amounts to child abuse, its forms, including exploitation, physical, sexual and emotional abuse, and ways to prevent it. Through an educative video, children were also taught about ‘good and bad’ touch.
