The Army has organised a health camp at Akhnoor where many people benefited.

As many as 500 families attended the camp where they were screened for various ailments, including lifestyle diseases. Apart from the basic investigation, facilities including spirometry, optometrist and bone densitometry were also provided. 

In addition, ENT, eye specialists and paediatrician carried out medical examination. Training regarding important aspect on basic life support and breast self-examination was also imparted.
