NC leader flays RSS chief on quota issue

Raising the issue of reservation for the SC/ST/OBCs by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat depicts anti-reservation mindset on the future agenda of the RSS, which is harmful for the weaker section of society and unity and integrity of the  country.This was said by Ajay Sadhotra, former minister and senior leader, National Conference, while sharply reacting to the statement of the RSS chief.

It was farsightedness of the Constitution framer Dr B R Ambedkar that reservation for the SC/ST/OBCs was enshrined in the Constitution. Such utterances create doubt and mistrust among the weaker sections of society. Disturbing reservation is improper and grave injustice, asserted Sadhotra. 

The National Conference leader asked the RSS to desist from such utterances which created doubts among the weaker sections. Instead poor should be given sense of belonging. 

The slogan of Prime Minister Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas should be adhered to in letter and spirit and should not be just a lip service only, added Sadhotra.
