The Governor of Goa, Mridula Sinha, released a book titled, ‘Singapore - Indian Legal System - A Comparative Study’, authored by city lawyer Harpreet Sandhu, at Raj Bhawan, Goa.
“I think it will be useful for many people not only in India but in Singapore also in the domain of law,” the Governor said, in writing while extending wishes.
She has herself penned down about more than 80 books on different topics.
The Governor appreciated Sandhu’s efforts to undertake research on comparative study on the legal systems of different nations and authoring a meaningful book.
Earlier, the book was launched globally at Singapore Parliament and in India by the Attorney General of India, KK Venugopal, and Solicitor General of India, Tushar Mehta. — TNS
