Adviser reviews security in Doda, Bhaderwah

Adviser K Vijay Kumar on Saturday visited Bhaderwah and Doda towns in Doda district to review the security situation. He was accompanied by DGPDilbag Singh and ADGP, Law and Order, Muneer Khan.

Kumar held meetings with representatives of political parties, social groups, government officials and officers of the Army, CRPF, J&K Police and other security forces.

The Adviser listened to the demands raised by political parties and social groups and asked officials of the district administration to fast-track the developmental process in the district. He asked all departments to work in tandem with the panchayats to provide a relief to the people.

“I held security and developmental review meetings along with the DGP and the ADGP in Bhaderwah and Doda. I think there is excellent cooperation from the public and there is good coordination among the forces,” Kumar told mediapersons after the meeting. — TNS
