Sikh Human Development Foundation (SHDF) and Nishkam Sikh Welfare Council are providing financial assistance to marginalised but brilliant students who wish to pursue professional courses for higher education.

Eligibility: Students who have scored at least 60 per cent marks in two latest academic examinations, and are pursuing a professional course at a recognised institution in India may apply for this scholarship program if their family income is below Rs 1.80 lakh per year.

Details: Based on their financial need and performance in scholarship test, selected scholars will be provided scholarships worth up to Rs 30,000 each.

Global Youth Video Competition 

Television for Environment is inviting applications from environment conservation enthusiasts to submit short videos of inspiring stories about saving the planet from climate change. Selected top entries will get global exposure and a chance to work with the United Nations' Climate Change Conference.

Eligibility: Indian citizens between the ages of 18 to 30 years may apply for this programme

Details: Winning entries will get global recognition at the UN Secretary-General's Climate Summit in New York. Winners will also get the chance to interact with climate change leaders during a round trip travel to UN Climate Conference COP 25 in Chile in December 2019.

Australian Alumni International scholarship, ECU

Edith Cowan University (ECU) is inviting Indian students who have studied in Australia to enrol for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at the institution with scholarship benefits which cover partial tuition fees.

Eligibility: Indian students who have completed one of the selected courses in Australia as prescribed by ECU, may apply for this scholarship program.

Details: Selected scholars will be provided 20 per cent tuition fee reduction for respective undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

IDFC FIRST Bank MBA scholarship

IDFC FIRST Bank is providing scholarships to students enrolled in 1st year of full-time MBA programmes across 150 colleges in India. The scholarship programme is aimed at helping MBA students who need financial support in managing their tuition fees. 

Eligibility: Indian students who are enrolled in the 1st year of full-time MBA programmes at selected 150 educational institutions may apply for this scholarship. Students must have an annual family income not more than Rs 6 lakh to be eligible to apply for this scholarship 

Details: Selected scholars will be provided with Rs 1 lakh per annum for 2 years of their full-time MBA studies
