A die-hard fan of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Naresh Kumar, a 46-year-old scrap dealer, goes from street to street on his bicycle which carries a congratulatory message for the PM on his second tenure.

In the message, he has also pinned hope that Modi would work for all sections of society.

Expressing his desire to meet the PM, he said whenever he meets Modi, he would bring to his notice the working of state leaders and problems of people.

Claiming there was a huge gap between state and Central leaders of the BJP, he said the local leadership had completely failed to implement developmental projects and schemes for the common man.

“I am impressed with Modi’s charismatic personality and speeches. I have never seen such a leader in my life. I want to meet him to let him know about the ground situation and working of his leaders in the state,” said Naresh.

He slammed local leaders for not paying attention to the grievances of common people and their indifferent attitude. “The local leaders only know the votebank politics and once they win they don’t turn up to solve any of our problems,” Naresh said.

He said, “I tried to meet Modi during his recent visit to Akhnoor, but I couldn’t. For the visit, I had to bear a loss of Rs 250 which I earn daily.”

Father of two daughters, Naresh said, “I live in Shakti Nagar, Jammu, which is full of potholes and has a poor drainage system, but no one pays heed to our problems.”
