People have turned on their Google Maps to locate a crop art tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, which has taken the internet by storm.

The enormous artwork was made over 2.4 lakh sq feet spread over six acres at a farm by popular rangoli artist Mangesh Nipanikar, who has made similar rangolis in the past.

The crop art went viral after a Twitter user: Madan_Chikna, posted a video of the satellite view of the farm.

He shared the video with the caption: "This is an incredible Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj crop art from the farmers of small village in Nilanga, Latur, Maharashtra. (WA)".

As the tribute to the great king went viral online, including on mediums like WhatsApp, people praised the effort.

Although the tribute was made on the occasion of Shivaji Jayanti in February this year, it wasn’t until recently that the video went viral.

One can find the exact location on the Google Maps by searching for the coordinates - 4QP5+8Q Dapka, Maharashtra or type Maharaj Farm Painting or Balaji Mandir, Nilangaand and the crop portrait will then be visible on satellite view.
