PM wants potable water tap in each house, says Kataria 

Ambala: Union Minister of State for Jal Shakti and Social Justice and Empowerment, Rattan Lal Kataria, has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants all households in the country to have a water tap. To achieve this mission, the Prime Minister will soon launch the Jal Se Nal Yojana. “The PM has entrusted me with the new Ministry of Jal Shakti, which will play a pivotal role in realising this dream,” he said. Excise and Taxation Dept to have public relations officers 

Faridabad: The Excise and Taxation Department has started the process to have its own team of public relations officers (PROs). The matter of appointment of PROs from within the department came up during a meeting of senior officials held at Chandigarh on May 28. Sanjeev Kaushal, Additional Chief Secretary, Taxation Department, said the decision to appoint PROs and constitute help desks was taken to improve the functioning of the department and bring in transparency.
