Long lost co-stars!

R. Madhavan is currently busy gearing up for his upcoming film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. The film is a biographical drama based on the life of former scientist and aerospace engineer Nambi Narayanan of the Indian Space Research Organisation. He was falsely charged with espionage in 1994 and arrested. The movie will revolve around his life and will also show his journey of becoming a scientist. Interestingly, Madhavan will not only be playing the titular character in Rocketry, but has also written, produced and directed the film.

Recently, the actor took to his social media handle to introduce the female lead of the film. The character of Meena Nambi, wife of Nambi Narayanan, will be played by actress Simran Bagga. The duo will be reuniting on the big screen after 17 long years. The actors were last seen together in Mani Ratnam’s 2002 film Kannathil Muthamittal. Sharing a happy sun-kissed photograph with Simran, Madhavan introduced his fans and followers to his onscreen wife. The caption of Maddy’s post reads: “15 years later .Thiru and Indira turn into Mr. & Mrs. Nambi Narayanan.”
