Someone, finally speaks up

The protest by doctors has now become a pan-India thing with other state doctors joining their fellow practitioners. While not many Bollywood celebrities have reacted on the incident, Dangal and Secret Superstar actress ZairaWasim came out in support of the medical staff in a recent Instagram post shared by her. In the post, she wrote, “The violence going on against doctors in West Bengal is absolutely unfortunate, disturbing and heart wrenching. What’s even more unfortunate is how it’s not a matter of national concern. Why isn’t the media covering the ongoing menace? With 300 doctors resigning from their duties in response to the heinous attacks happening against doctors in West Bengal, I fail to understand how the situation is not worthy of a national outrage!” Meanwhile, on the work front, Zaira will next be seen in The Sky Is Pink, along with Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar.
