On the first day of the three-day migratory pulse polio round, a team of the health department, administered polio drops to 13,730 children on Sunday. The drive was kicked off by Dr Shelly Jaitley by administering polio drops to the children at Tafazalpura slums.

Dr Shelly Jaitley said the department had set a target of giving polio drops to 25,388 children up to the age of five years. District Immunisation Officer (DIO) Sudha Grover, Senior Medical Officer (SMO) Anjna Gupta, Dr Vishal Malhotra, ANM and ASHA workers were also present at the event.

“We will go door to door apart from visiting the migratory population in the next two days,” said Dr Jaitley.
