Brimming with confidence Haryana Chief Minister (CM) Manohar Lal Khattar here today claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would win all 89 out of the 90 seats in the forthcoming Assembly elections in the state. When questioned why the BJP would not win all the 90 Assembly seats, the CM did not answer.

The Chief Minister, who was in the city to inspect site for the solid waste management plant at Bhanu village, an alternative location to Jheuriwala village, said, “The people are wise enough and know to as to which party they should vote. My government has carried out development works and the people will definitely vote for the party.”

“The recent outcome in the Lok Sabha results in Haryana is a proof as the party has won all the 10 seats in the state and that too with a huge margin,” he added.

Answering to a query whether the BJP would demand votes in the name of Prime Minister Modi or on the development Khattar said everyone was doing his/her job honestly and it was for the people to judge.

“This time party will definitely increase its tally from 72 seats to 89 out of the total 90 seats in the Haryana Assembly,” he added.

Replying to another question whether candidates, who failed to perform, would be changed or not, he said it was for the BJP parliamentary committee to take a decision on aspirants, who would be contesting the upcoming Assembly poll.

Performance of legislators would be considered by the committee while deciding their candidature, he added.
