About a year and a half after anticipatory bail granted to the founders of Ryan group of institutions in Gurugram schoolboy murder case was confirmed, the Punjab and Haryana High Court on Friday issued notice of motion on Grace Pinto’s plea for modification of order.

Appearing before the Bench of Justice Anupinder Singh Grewal, Grace through counsel RS Cheema, AS Cheema, and Apoorva Pandey submitted that a condition was imposed that she was required to seek prior permission from the court for travelling abroad.

The counsel contended that a similar condition had been imposed on Ryan Augustine Pinto, which was modified by the coordinate Bench of the High Court. The counsel contended that the petitioner was no longer accused as challan had not been filed against her. Issuing notice to the CBI, Justice Grewal fixed the case for July 3.
