Trains partially cancelled, rescheduled from May 25 to 27

LUDHIANA: The Northern Railway would take a mega traffic-cum-overhead equipment (OHE) block for regirdering of one span of bridge no 283 upline between Barara-Kesri stations on Saharanpur-Ambala section on May 26.

The Northern Railway would take a mega traffic-cum-overhead equipment (OHE) block for regirdering of one span of bridge no 283 upline between Barara-Kesri stations on Saharanpur-Ambala section on May 26. As a result, some trains on this section would remain cancelled, partially cancelled or regulated between May 25 and 27.

According to the railways officials, 14610 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Rishikesh Hemkunt Express, 14617 Saharsa-Amritsar Jansewa Express, 12357 Kolkata-Amritsar Durgiana Express and 15211 Darbhanga-Amritsar Jannayak Express trains would remain cancelled on May 25. The 14609 Rishikesh-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Hemkunt Express, 12460 Amritsar-New Delhi Intercity Express and 14681 New Delhi-Jalandhar Intercity Express trainswould remain cancelled on May 26, 2019. Two other trains – 12358 Amritsar-Kolkata Durgiana Express and 15212 Amritsar-Darbhanga Jannayak Express would remain off the tracks on May 27.

Among the trains to remain partially cancelled during the traffic/OHE block is the pair of 12053/54 Amritsar-Haridwar-Amritsar Janshatabdi Express which would remain partially cancelled on May 26 between Ambala Cantt and Haridwar in both directions.

Further, 14645 Delhi Jn-Jammu Tawi Shalimar Express would depart from Delhi Jn 90 minutes late (at 5.40 PM in place of 4.10 PM) on May 26.
