At 20 booths in Una, people voted in favour of Congress

While like the rest of the state, Una district gave an overwhelming support to the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections, but people from 20 out of the total 512 booths in the district defied Modi wave and preferred the Congress.

In the Haroli segment, nine booths out of the total 106 had a higher number of voters for the Congress, while people in six out of the total 91 booths in Gagret voted for the Congress candidate.

In the Chintpurni segment, voters from four out of the total 102 booths voted in favour of the Congress, while in the Una segment, one out of the total 97 booths went in favour of the Congress. Kutlehar is the only segment in the district, where the BJP had a lead on all 116 polling booths.

In the Una segment, Dehlan-5 booth had given a lead in favour of the Congress. In Chintpurni, the Congress had slender leads in Kinnu, Thara, Ladoli and Chowki Khas, while in the Gagret segment, Abhaypur, Nakroh-1, Nakroh-2, Dawali, Gagret-2 and Pambra booths gave more votes to the Congress. In Haroli, the nine booths that went in favour of the Congress were Saloh-5, Badheda-2, Pubowal-1, Polian Beet-1, Kungrat, Lalari-1, Heera-2, Dulehar Khas and Dulehar Upper. — OC
