3 youths die in Panipat accident

Panipat, May 24

Three youths were killed in an accident near Vajira minor near Sutana village here on Friday. All three were riding a motorcycle. 

The deceased have been identified as Kapil (18) and Neeraj (19) of Kabri village and Hunny (18) of Sutana. 

Kapil and Hunny were students of Class XII while Neeraj had passed Class XII recently. All three were students of Arya Senior Secondary School, GT Road, in the city. 

Kapil and Neeraj came to Sutana village to pick Hunny this morning and then, left for Panipat.

As they reached the brick kiln on the Bazida minor road, an unidentified vehicle hit their motorcycle.

Kapil and Neeraj died on the spot while Hunny sustained serious injuries. The commuters informed the police about the accident. The police called an ambulance and rushed Hunny to the hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead.

The Model Town police handed over the bodies to the victims’ kin after the post-mortem examination. 

The police have registered a case against the unidentified vehicle driver on the complaint of Kapil’s father. — TNS
