The 53-year-old is one of the most eligible bachelors in Bollywood. While Salman Khan has often dodged the question of marriage, he would want to have kids.

It is no secret that the ‘Race 3’ actor adores children. His videos and pictures of playing with kids often go viral on social media. The superstar never misses a chance to spend some time with his nephew Ahil.

While Salman is keen to have children, he doesn't want them to come along with a mother.

In a recent interview, Salman revealed his plans on fatherhood. He said: "I want children, but with children comes the mother. I don't want the mother, but they need one. But I have a whole village to take care of them. Maybe I can work out a win-win situation for everyone."

When asked about his marriage plans, Salman said: "Not for some time." He went on to add that marriage is definitely not on his mind right now.

A while ago, reports had surfaced that the superstar may opt for surrogacy.

It had suggested that Salman is ready to follow in the footsteps of friends Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar.

On the work front, Salman is awaiting the release of ‘Bharat’, an official remake of the Korean film, ‘An Ode To My Father’.

The film also stars Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff and Tabu. It is set to hit the screens on June 5.
