The police have booked a youth for allegedly raping a nine-year-old girl.
A complaint in this regard was lodged by the victim’s parents on Sunday.
DSP, Anni, Tejinder Verma said the victim’s parents alleged that the accused took their daughter to a secluded place and raped her.
The girl narrated the incident to her parents, following which they lodged a complaint.
The DSP said the accused was booked under Sections 376, 511 and Section 4 of the POCSO Act. A team had been formed to arrest him.
