After voting for the first time in the city for Lok Sabha elections, MP Kirron Kher today claimed that there was no “Bansal factor”, there was only “Modi wave” and she would win by a bigger margin than the last time.

Speaking to mediapersons after casting her vote at a government school in Sector 7, she claimed that there was pro-incumbency in the city. Kher said, “The Bansal factor did not work last time and will not work now as well.”

When the MP was told that Bansal today said he would maintain a distance from her while referring to her remark that “Mainu inna gussa charhdaa hai, ik maaran ghassun agle tey (I feel so angry that I feel like punching him)”, she said, “You (Bansal) should have thought so before.”

Slamming the Congress leader, the BJP candidate said, “I had said so because he acted childish by circulating pamphlets in newspapers listing false things about me. His whole office is involved in issuing me notices. He sent his people to my rallies to get feedback. These are mean tricks.”

Kher recalled this was the second time she was voting in the city. Earlier, she had voted during the Municipal Corporation polls. “This time, I could vote for myself. During the last Lok Sabha elections, I was enrolled as a voter in Mumbai. Now, I got it shifted here,” she added.
