The students of INIFD Fashion & Interior Design participated in the regional selection to showcase at the upcoming Lakmé Fashion Week - India’s premier fashion and lifestyle event. Celebrating fashion and interior design on one unique platform, the event was hosted at Tagore Theatre-18.

This unique design festival showcased a specially curated Knowledge Series with a talk show followed by design presentation by budding INIFD fashion designers and interior designers. The selected students will get an exclusive opportunity to showcase at INIFD Launchpad during Lakme Fashion Week and the selected interior design students get a chance to design sets of five designer shows at Lakme Fashion Week.

The celebrity jury at the design presentation, Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar was not only impressed by the creativity of the students but also enjoyed the energy and enthusiasm with which the students came forward and showcased their creativity. Top panelists shared their valuable experience and knowledge comprising of Anupama Dayal - renowned fashion designer, Sonal Sancheti - leading interior designer, Jaspreet Chandok - IMG Reliance head of fashion. —TNS
