Warring takes out roadshow with Manpreet Badal

Congress candidate Amrinder Singh Raja Warring took out a roadshow here on Tuesday. He was accompanied by Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal. 

The roadshow led to traffic chaos on the Malout road on the occasion. They had to reach Green Palace at 11 am, but they arrived at the venue for a rally at 12.30 pm.

Police personnel had to face a tough time in managing traffic as people could be seen getting photographs clicked with both leaders.

The roadshow started from the Kingfisher resort on the Malout road and ended at the venue of the rally. Congress workers were seen flashing party flags on motorcycles ahead of the cavalcade.

Laster, Warring, along with Manpreet Badal and Khushbaz Singh Jattana, took out a roadshow in Talwandi Sabo and paid obeisance at Takht Damdama Sahib.

In the evening, Warring visited a park where he interacted with residents. He also visited a private gym in the city.

His wife Amrita Warring on Tuesday attended public meetings at Burj Rathi, Burj Dhilwan, Ubha, Burj Hari, Tamkot, Thuthiawali, Bhaini Bagha, Bhai Desa, Kotli Kalan, Kale, Aspal, Aspal Kothe and Sadda Singh Wala villages. Later, she addressed public meetings in Mansa.

After the announcement of her candidature, SAD candidate Harsimrat Kaur Badal on Tuesday visited religious places in the city to seek blessings.  

Punjab Democratic Alliance candidate Sukhpal Singh Khaira on Tuesday campaigned at various villages in the Maur area.

At Harkrishanpura village, Khaira raise the issue of poor drinking water. He said groundwater here was contaminated, which was unfit for human consumption and agricultural use.
